When I arrived in Galway, it was late afternoon. But the sun was shining until nine in the evening.
I must go to sleep. Tomorrow morning at 8 o.clock I'll have my first lesson. Good night.

  4. Today I'm starting my English Language Course At the Atlantic School in Galway!.
I'm very happy and also excited. It will be a very important experience. I hope I'll learn many things. My class is composed of ten people, not too much young, fortunately!
In Galway there is a small bay surrounded by lots of typical old buildings. In the old town centre there are the remains of buildings that recall the ancient seafaring tradition. Now I'll go out to find a good pub where I'll taste the Irish bear!
    Bye Chiara

    1. here the weather is just typically Irish, extremely changeable: first it's sunny, then cloudy, with beautiful clouds running in the sky because of the strong wind, then suddenly a downpour!
But this is part of the new reality.

  6. Hi!
I'm writing during my caffe break, but without Italian caffe!
The hours I spend in class are very interesting and really intensive. I have to pay a lot of attention and concentration , but it's pleasant to test oneself and get involved.
When I leave school, I'll walk around the city. So, I'll can relax and begin to learn about this new reality.
bye, now I mus came back in class!
    see you Chiara

  7. Hi Chiara ! I heard you miss your Italian coffee, but maybe a cafeteria with white tea , muffins and scones is better than Cinzia's cafè!!! No, nothing is better than Cinzia cafè, after 3 teaching hours at Zuccante, isn't it?
    Are lessons involving?

  9. Hi!
Yesterday afternoon, at five o'clock, I went into a typical Irish tea house. What a lovely place!
It seamed like a two hundred years ago picture.
I set down at a small table. Over it there were: a nice lace tablecloth, very pretty cups and a teapot. I took and taste a very good tea and a delicious slice of an hand made cake.
    bye Chiara

Yesterday I passed my level text. I hope I'll improve my English next week too, in the Second School, in Dublin.
This morning I visited the Aran Islands. I arrived in Inis Mor from Galway by bus and ferryboat.these islands are famous for their geological formation, historical monuments and cultural Heritage.I could see four seals! Irish(Gaelic) is the first Language of the islanders and is still spoken in everyday life.
Slan go foill ! (good bye in Irish)

  16. Hi!
Did you buy some Aran sweaters? Dante and I went in Aran Islands in 1990 and we went around the island by bike and visited Dun aengus, I still remember the fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean from that point.

How many "Guinnes" have you drunk since you arrived there? Remember: one pint is a beer, an half pint is for children...

Could you tell me about irish weather in this days?
Now, in Italy, the day is sunny and mild .
Have you a nice and fruitful week!
    Bye .
    Gloria

  20. Hi,
In spite of it was always raining, yesterday I walked for many hours in the afternoon.
I could see that Dublin is a city with different aspects. The elegant Georgian part has wide street, gracious squares and great houses, neatly bordered by its two canals.
There are also a lot of buildings older. In Dublin there are many, many, many pubs. I haven't counted them yet!

    cul8r !(see you later!)

  21. Good morning people!
Yesterday I spent my free time to visit Dublin's expositions. First I went to the Trinity College to visit its famous Old Library with 200.000 ancient books. this include the "Book of Kells", a 9th Century manuscript.
Then I visited the "National Gallery of Ireland". The collection includes many paintings and sculptures.
The weather was sunny and nice.

  23. Hi!
Day after day my English improves little by little. Even during lessons I'm able to understand better teacher's speaking.
The best solution for me would be to stay here at least three months.
Do you agree with me? Can you ask to our Director for me?
    Thank you! Bye
    Chiara
